A friend of mine is attending MAKS this year...have to write her she should have a look for the best dressed man of the show

Ha ha thanks, there are a lot of well-dressed men and girls at this show :) Today I saw, for example, a beautiful pilot-girl in cool leather jacket, she is member of Latvian aerobatic team.
I'll be again there tomorrow till 2 pm , but the forecast promises +24C and think it will not jacket's weather. In any case, if your friend comes tomorrow I can show her our plane inside.

She arrived today from Italy as far as I know :) I will try and get a message through to her and forward your offer to her :) (AN-124 if I may ask?)

Ah I remember my visit to MAKS several years ago...goose bump feeling when I remember the two VVS aerobatic teams in Fulcrums and Flankers doing their routine and all Russian visitors cheering like mad...have not experienced that again anywhere, not even in Italy when the Frecce do their thing...

Not 124, this is one of our IL-76 cargo.Until Friday inclusive, MAKS open for specialists and business guests only and very modest flight program these days. The coolest air show with our Su-27 and MiG-29 famous teams is usually on Saturday and Sunday, when the MAKS is open to everyone. But in these days are huge crowds of people. A lot of people, a real pandemonium :)

Tovarisch товарищ would you mind to pass me her phone number?

BTW: you look pretty handsome with the A2 and tie

Tom, freund, I'm already driving home, sorry, not this time my friend not this time ha ha I think list of people wishing to get number very long so the chances would be illusory :p.

That's not a bee, that's a wasp! (WASP?):D

Probably .... in fact, the photo with the wasp was made by accident. I photographed an embroidered inscription on her jacket back. And in this time real wasp landed on the back of a Bee :)

Tim... Is that a raiders? I had one a while back, loved it. So comfy, but was a bit thin. Wish Id kept it...

Yup a custom Raiders in "soft seal brown cowhide" (which I think is very sadly no longer available). The leather on this is tough as old boots but still drapes softly and really beautifully. Developing very nice wear on high points as well.

If you can get a good fitting one, they're fantastic jackets. I love it.
