The nicest, softest, straightest mouton collar I ever had was on an Aero prototype B-10. Jacket wasn’t the greatest, but the collar was lovely.
I have to say that the collar on the ELC repro looks very similar indeed to the one on the original.

I'd like to have such a jacket but the price ...

I had the opportunity to check and see a EASTMAN M422a but wasn't utterly overwhelmed by the quality of the jacket. The lambskin seemed rather stiff to me and the overall quality wasn't actually "overwhelming".

Other than that the jacket is pretty "sexy" let aside the accuracy in the shape of collar or mouton
