The 506 PIR patch on the chest looks like a 30,- GBP repro. I wear exactly the same patch on my 506 PIR reenactment A-2. The 101 AB eagle could be an original one but to make sure, you'll have to see the back side of the patch. regards, shiloh

Selleck also wears A-2 jackets in his "Jesse Stone" movies, but they look like high end jackets, probably Eastman. Also wears a B-15 in another epsiode of "Jesse Stone". regards, shiloh

Hi Rutger, the fit seems perfect. During the war the A-2 jackets were often snug fit but I have several pics in books where you can see they wore the jackets quite roomy and even wear sweaters underneath it. But they also wore the trousers up to their belly belts. So some things changed over 70...

Yes, this Irvin is the right size according to WW2 standards. I can wear a BD or SD blouse underneath it. But, ofcourse nowadays no one wears a service dress underneath a repro Irvin. So it's a bit too loose on me. I am looking for an older ELC 42 pattern. Regular size 42. I am sure that will...
