    ELC 50.CAL B-6

I predict that within the next year, they will return to their "roots" or re-focus on core business (quality jackets) ... making the aged look available as an "additional cost feature" rather than a standard feature/look. In that way, they can produce a quality "base model" with the perceived...

    My first Langlitz...with picture now

Thanks for the info. The other person who I know who recently picked up the jacket was very happy with the whole experience as well. His jacket was also around $850 completed ... but he rode his bike out to pick it up personally .... so no shipping charge and no charge at the border when he...

The fur collar does look great. What is the lining of the jacket? Is it also fur based? or fabric ... Seems like you'd be using this for riding in colder weather if you have a bike ... or is it just a jacket you wear whenever? My thoughts are that if you'd be riding in the cold, that there...

Re: My first Langlitz... Don't they still do custom builds out of the U.S.?? A biker friend recently got one done from there... Why from Japan??

    b-3 jackets

Mine is quite warm for even colder weather... but I wouldn't say TOO warm for 20 - 30F with just a shirt. (pics - viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2350) If you're planning on jogging in it ... then yes, it would be too warm. :) I live in southern Ontario ... so NYC weather is very similar for the most part.

    New ELC RAF 44

Thanks ... I missed one day on the net moving my mother-in-law to a new apartment ... and John snaps up that 42 pattern from the U.S. ($350)... Still looking for a 40 pattern, but may still bid on this one from Germany as well. Payment is listed as bank transfer. Not sure if this is...

potential boo boo may lead to Irvin trade/ sale request.

Yes ... but ... I can't bid 'cause I'm in Canada. I did contact the seller for $$ on shipping and asked to be able to bid. They got back saying they would be willing to ship to Canada ... but still no luck on bidding ... :( I'll wait around for a '40 pattern (much harder to find it seems)....

    Eastman Irvin : BOB Model

I agree with John - re: "..think the strict adherence to these recent dull textures may backfire as it is not to everyone's taste..." I prefer to "break in" the jacket myself. "New" also offers at least some form of consistency as in your always getting the "new" look ... instead of perhaps...

    B-6 ... Aero vs. Eastman

Thanks for your insight. That gives me an idea of a temperature range. :)

    B-6 ... Aero vs. Eastman

Thanks for the info. You say that you wear it often in the cold weather. Can you be more specific as to temperature range? Being from Canada, I'm just trying to get an idea the months I could wear it and when it would be too cold or hot ... :)
