The epaulets are a strange thing on this contract. When laying flat, they really look far forward. When worn though they sit nicely if made properly:

As a side note I’m on the bigger side of the charts at 6’1” and 250lbs… I’m pushing the limits of a size 48 but I’m very comfortable with this fit. I doubt I could layer with any heavy top or sweater/jumper just yet but maybe if it opens a little with wear..

I’m not a stitch counter or overly obsessed with small details but this has all the appearances of a great jacket for a great price.. the leather feels really nice with grain showing up along the sleeve creases after just a few hours wear. There are no unpleasant odors from the leather. The knits feel good and They have no pulls or pilling.

Loved those shots, Boyo. I have the same t-shirt, but nobody has ever realized what it is when I've even worn it to military collector shows.
Just placed an order for one of these A2s, for what my wife said is my joint birthday (at the end of this month) and Christmas present.
Can't wait to try it on, the photos look great!

these are looking quite good!!! Oh, Love the small of leather in the morning, Smells like VICTORY
I actually bought a size 46 Bronco to replace my LL Bean a-2 for various outdoor chores. Loved my Bean, but it was a size 42 and I needed something that fit better as I prefer my Good Wear's in beautiful shape, {contrary to others who prefer to put plenty of wear on theirs. But, referencing your post CBI, the Bronco has no distinctive smell at all.
