What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

I like the RE 'B' better. They are actually rarer then Fosters in my experience and they have cool details like the blackened zipper and that dark mouton (at least on the ones I've had). It's a classy jacket.
Agreed. JFK’s Ralph G-1 was Sold for $570000 at an auction house in Massachusetts in 2013.

What do you fellas think of this A-1? Assuming it's a photo of the actual product. There are a few blokes flogging A-1s from their homes in Manchester. This dude is near the A576 between Crumpsall and Heaton Park.
The price and shipping seem reasonable, but your postal service is cocked-up at the moment.
You dirty rotten scoundrels have really put the monkey on my back, but I don't have the dosh to feed it. Baby needs new shoes, but Daddy wants more jackets.

From a totally biased A-1 fan... I love it!

That flick was what, 1986? She's a woman aging gracefully, I don't think she deserves mockery or laughter. Fer fookssake, I hope I age that well.
Truth. You may have confused the issue though, which was ultimately who was the "higher authority" that helped ZuZu see the light. My point was that she had her hands all over that jacket, see image of the post. Thanks!

My post was referencing a reaction to what I presume is a fairly current photo of Kelly, that's all. No problem.

I still have a beady eye out for another decent original G-1... I've come to really like my Star and will be replacing the knit soon.
I've missed a couple of beauts, so I know they crop up in good condition. Just need to be vigilant and patient.

Yeа, Brett, it’s enough to catch the right one once and calm down, how lucky I was with my Brill when all the stars matched - both the leather, "mine" year of manufacture and the color of the muton and most importantly right fit. This prompted me to sell my 1958 Foster and now I have only one G-1 but a perfect fit. Can't wait for spring here to wear it again.

Great day today .
“Young Medic” and I got together for Pizza at my place, and then we spent the afternoon going thru my collection of jackets and just having some fun trying them on . So today we took a few photos wearing originals . Here’s my United Sheeplined A2 .View attachment 93727View attachment 93729

Wow. Now that is a jacket! An original A-2 you can wear is a cool thing! (Do you hear the jealousy in my typing?:D:D)

By the way in my world geeking out on jackets especially with another person like Young Medic is called "jacketeering". Talking on the phone counts too. "Where's Dad? ... "Oh he's jacketeering- he may be at home but he's not really here!"

Yes imdeed! A great day was had by all. I had the good fortune to spend some time with the one and only "B-Man" himself and he took me through his incredible collection of jackets. What a terrific steward he is for these great pieces of history and I'll tell ya my jacket knowledge went up exponentially today just being able to experience the lovely examples Burt takes care of. He even let me try on a few so here is a very cool patched Cable from the 10008 contract. Thanks Burt! You are THE man.
