It’s a great jacket day, so time to air out an Original Bronco 29191.

Standard goat for Dubow which I would describe as chocolate seal (Shawn called it russet). The knits are dull purple which I supplied along with a deadstock zip.
Did you get those knits from MASH?
Reason Im asking is that I think it works well with your jacket. Was a good call.

First time out with the Ace's High and outdoor knitwear submariner.
Thought I'd take colour matching fleece type dog for a walk.
Only thing that bugs me a little is the thickness of the fleece on the windflap inside the cuff.
Think I might have to shave a bit off.

It might be helpful to compare them to JCs pictures here https://www.goodwearleather.com/pages/sale_dubow_0009.html
Thanks for posting that info but that brings up another question . Aren’t the rib rack knits solely used on USN jackets ? I think that might be the case . I’m reasonably sure they were never used on A2s . I’m not saying that your jacket doesn’t look great with them as it most certainly does look good . Just asking the question for those who may be concerned with authenticity and accuracy of reproducing the look of an original DuBow A2 using the purple knits .

Yes, know Larry. Have used some of his knits before.
I have had both the USN rib-rack and a couple of std A-2 knit sets from him, pretty decent. One A-2 set was good, the other not so much.
This was a couple of years ago now, so maybe they've improved.

Color is a little dark, knit heaver than originals, but nicely made. I doubt, while a super nice guy, JC wants to get random knit requests. Hence my choice at the time. What's your better choice/source? :)
