Ok, on the laptop now and can see that the first two photos above are pretty poor due to the light. Apologies for that but hopefully you get the gist.

and the cuffs would pull past my wrist-bones when reaching out for a steering wheel when driving. ;)

Heaven forbid! ;)

Lebowski

You might not want to sell to this guy.
Those are high-waist K-1's I'm wearing. If the jacket were a size smaller with 'modern' trousers, the knits would be up over my belt (which I think looks obscene), and the cuffs would pull past my wrist-bones when reaching out for a steering wheel when driving. ;)

EDIT: Mine fits pretty much the same as JC's Dubow here:

JC's jacket looks quite a bit longer in the body on the photo above.

I have come to grips with the fact that no matter the length the sleeves eventually will pull up. Just the way the leather works on the jackets. My aero even before shortening did this when driving.

No harm done.. no highjacking of the thread wanted...
GW against Dubow Mfg ... experiences/ listed here...
I walked arround in rain in another “ Greek / made / shipped” jacket....fair enough so far..
Results published here...
Right now ...I am in a tropical country walking an A -2 RW HH GW arround.. IMHE... huge differences..
1) no paint coating loss within rain or wetting or working .. and/but the GW keeps real patina and same dye color but only patina polishing in.., looks like draping chrome dyed HH..
2) stiffness ... my Ex Greek leather A-2 after drying after THE rain walk..... a ( documented) brick wall ... ELC, ALC or GW.. still butter soft.... documented.... plus the documented orange discoloring... orange under coat ( after oiling maybe a bit better but still carrot orange..sorry!! please put an orange or carrot next to the wear/patina for a realistic comparison... please dont oil the vegetables/fruits).
3) design/ cut/craft ....HH Made in Greece is fashionabke for others...hmmm...me? for an A-2 HH for 900 Euro+++..,not so happy... I do hope Platoon has better cutters and machinists than Alan...if not, we meet soon in Athens...I handcarry my jacket back to the factory address shown on my parcel ... all will be documented here... Very happy to do so.
4) creasing... never ever ever saw any WW2 original A-2 jacket creasing like the Made in Greece ones...my ex BK included...creasing everywhere...arms torso...shoulders flaps.
Sorry but WW2 A-2 jackets drape... but dont crease... photos welcome...please convince me otherwise..
My ex- made in Greece jacket, not only creased but was almost impossibke to bring back to a wearable state without a lot of efforts...( oiling , and a lot of leather treatment )...after a rain walk.
Sorry but again no match for any GW..or any other prime maker... money is one thing... sustainabke value anotherone...
....Allright stop the mudthrowing!!! If all OK.with my Platoon Dubow, ..I will be very happy to convince all hesitating prospects here with photos and reports..
4) Reliability: my first Greek jacket was promissed for an approx 14 weeks delivery... it arrived with an approx 6 weeks delay... no excuses no explanation....Greek post??? impossible tracking.. no inssurance by seller ( culture issue???)...WTF...
Here... The other Greek supplier will fight against a lot of legals...first Paypal... plus others... Platoon... we have a contract... honor yours... I honor mine...Please!
BTW: My GW arrived after 4 days after PO and payment... fair enough to mention to an APO address...4 days after order and payment...
I have no issues with travelling if needed...... I paid... pls deliver... Thx.Platoon..
Name your friends!
Cheers...

Hi J.
sorry none none none of my GW AERO ELC A-2 ever creased ( see my selling or posting pics even if extensive use and wear...)
all draped... like a second skin..
No creasing ever... sorry.
My RW GW will not crease at all...none of my GW A-2 will ever...” a few folds and pleads so.. “ disapearing when the A-2 hangs... BTW wearing pics when I leave Saigon for Bangkok will follow in 4 days...
Noticable sustainable creasing??!!! ( ww2 jackets flat on the floor) sorry no go...never existed during WW2... see photos...a few folds pleads here and there... byt remaining creasing...only for some repros not for the real draping stuff...
Check it out.

Sorry, perhaps I am misunderstanding the above but are you saying leather didn't incur "sustainable" creasing in WW2? Apologies if I have misunderstood.

Way back when I was in the clothing trade drape meant how a garment hung on the body, creasing was something either put in when a garment was folded and or pressed, or folds, buckles, wrinkles etc in fabric or leather as a result or wear and use.

Yeah leather ,with exception of cordovan, creases. If not I would question the quality of the leather used. So that might not be a good advert for that GW of yours.
