What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

Sefton may not be making jackets anymore, but I ordered a Sefton reproduction type D BoB oxygen mask for my RAF display two years ago. He is renown for making these and B helmets, O2 hoses, etc. for museums, collectors and movies and did the work for the film Dunkirk among others. His work remains stellar. Nice jacket!

:D The Push and Shove is history!
Moved up to the next level …a pimp cane!
:p

Today wore an old but lesser known favorite. A SEFTON A2. For the newer guys in our group, before there was Good Wear, Platon or Eastman Leather. There was one of the very first makers of a quality reproduction A2 jacket. The SEFTON Clothing Company, located in the UK. They made great looking A2 jackets at a very reasonable price. However, increasing production costs and competition eventually caused the company to go out of business . If any of you have an opportunity to acquire one of these A2 jackets… don’t hesitate … grab it… They are difficult to find but hold their value . This one came to me by way of our very own Macawber. Thanks mate!.

Technically yesterday, but within 24 hours so I guess that counts?

First shot at a leather flight/bomber jacket (I had a biker-style jacket several years ago that I never really got attached to). This is a Taylor's N143 that looks mostly A2-ish to me and at a friendly price point.

At 6'5" it's tough to find something that fits correctly height-wise without being too full of a cut. This jacket feels "poofier" than I was hoping, but looks less marshmallow-ey in the pictures so I guess it's okay for a starter.

Of course, I'm already looking around at other ones, too, so maybe it's just a gateway drug.

Poofier or puffier.

Big difference in Australia! Love is love though!
