Rocking my Imperial Fashions G-1 today, (1974 contract, I believe). Picked this up for cheap as chips at a local online auction (NZ$120!). It's a very squeaky jacket, but hella comfy and light. My guess is it's cow/steer leather?

Nice to see the Irvins coming out ......As it's got a bit nippy in London I think I'll get my last original out for a last Winter's wearing before possibly selling as we are probably downsizing next year so a lot of jackets will have to go. Sad after owning for 40+ years but the Jeep's gone to a new good home and will probably sell the bikes next year as well ( at 77 I'm a bit wary of the beasts now,) so don't really need the bulky gear. And I hasten to add it was only put on the hanger for taking photo.
