G-1 LW Foster from 1956, the lightest of all my leather jackets, it weighs only 1.3 kg (A2 Eastman 1.5, Soviet flight jacket 1.5 too, G-1 Brill 1.6 kg).

You treat them as they want to be treated, Dirty glove are fantastic!
When you can, may you post some pics? I'm curious to see them well

I have the 1st pattern, those with buckles and straps.

I had one pair from SM Wholsale, but SMW has not small size, so they fit large to me, and I did not really like the three stitched lines on the top of gloves, they are very flat (I don't know what the stitched lines are called). I tried to modified those three lines to give thickness but now they look a little bit like Frankenstein hands... ahahaha. The nice thing is that SMW use original WWII era RAU FASTENER CO. buckles.

Last year I went for SOF gloves, they have repro buckles but fit me perfectly, the supple leather makes nice folds when you wear them. so I wear them in winter, mid seasons, to drive my jeep in summer, they get dirty and outstanding in few time...ehehehe they are my battle gloves.

Mikey is right - original, redyed, wish it wasn't as the color inside the pockets is a very nice russet. But I'm not complaning - the jacket is awesome
