I’m not sure - it’s new stuff I believe. I’d say anyone who is contemplating goat to consider this one, lovely pebbly grain and nice medium weight.

I think he’d be open to recreating the models he’s made, because he often traces patterns from dissected originals, but I won’t speak for him! Best to send an email I’d say.

Love the color actually it’s what sold me. Harder to find lighter shaded USN repros. Eastman’s M-422a is slightly lighter in hue as are some Japanese models, but most are the standard darker seal.

This one was based off an original John had, so the lighter ones were out there!
