One of the few things about A2's that I think know (?) is that Doniger has slightly elongated collar flaps, or am I talking rubbish as usual ?

True John, but all issued Donigers are made of goatskin and do not have collar stands.

I was thinking of a Monarch contract, but I don't think the collar tips are quite long enough and that the pocket flaps should be a bit deeper on a Monarch?

This is infuriating. Ok so, not a Cooper, Perry or Dubow nor any Rough Wear mentioned... Which has been all by now I think, Apart from the 23380... But the leather looks like that John uses, and it has to be a reproduction.

It's not a Werber '36 as the collar tab would be visible. Werber '41

pocket shapes, and ball studs. The collar point seems a bit long but having ruled the other makers out my guess is a Cable, in the conservatory, with the lead pipe

there are aspects that look to me like a Fried Osterman one-off in horsehide. kinda narrow pockets and flared and narrow collar. Wrong hanger stitching though.

but what do I know?
