' Eastman ' Flyer RAF

I have had the very long [ 28 in] sleeves shortened and tapered by Hill4Leathers, so now the length is better though still probably slightly too long. The arms are massive in width, wider even than Eastman. But for the zips this is my best RAF jacket.

The last three are low light motordrive , blurred but fun.

That does look good. So you replaced the zips, then?
I find the way you've attached the elastic collar-strap quite interesting: could one say it's back to front? If there was a definitive way of attaching it ;)

Is there a particular way to attach the strap ?

Not that I'm aware of, although all Irvins I've seen with the strap have had the buckle facing outwards. I'm wondering whether it's just an aesthetic thing?
