Actually the second video shows a few clips of them wearing the A2 in combat and during mountain climbing ops.
I didn't realize that was an hour long -- can you tell me what point in the film? I'll definitely watch it all, but it will have to be later due to the length.

Not to be the stinker-contrarian, but this video just has too much b-roll filler that isn't even the FSSF -- some of it not even WW2. I finally stopped it when I saw the US Air Force marking on a 4 prop plane toward the end in the "final task" chapter.

I also like the can opener under the rubber helmet band. Yeah, that's gonna stay put. Better off with a P-38 strung on his dog tag chain like everyone else. ;)
