Does anyone know if enlisted insignia was painted on an A-2. I am currently an E-8 in the Air Force and would like to do this in a historically correct tasteful manner.
I have seen incised on the epaulettes of a 15th AF A2, and small painted on the sleeves of another but can't remember specifics. Pretty uncommon though, I think just about anything was done on an a2 at least once it seems.

This is the current offering of Victory Seal or Russet? Also, suggestion for the website: state which hide is shown in the images. Great work!

Thanks, I will try to show better images shortly.
Sorry for the late reply. This is the Victory horse antique effect russet that nobody likes.
It's not going to be available, unless brought back by popular demand. We have enough left to make one more jacket.

Thanks for the suggestion. All the photos will be replaced by jackets made with Victory horse so there will be no confusion.
We are trying hard...

Platon - the jackets are looking really nice. It seems that things are slowly progressing for you in a positive direction.

It would be great to hear/see from customers who have Victory Hide jackets. Perhaps they are not members?

I was wondering how many jackets you have made for customers with the Victory Hide?

If one were to order a Victory Hide jacket from you, is the hide currently in stock or are you taking orders and then once there are enough to order the hide, then doing so.

I seem to recall something about being able to get only limited quantities? Maybe I was/am mistaken. If so apologies.

What is your official wait time on Victory Hide jackets?

Thanks

Thank you.

While I was hoping for more support from members here, because it's for them that we upgraded the leathers and overall quality, despite the huge detailed photos I am showing, the refund guarantees and all, only a very limited number of people from here have bought Victory jackets. Some of them, while there were very happy with the jackets belong to the 'shy' population who do not entertain writing reviews. Some others haven't received them yet, including stanier who won the free jacket.

I will be dispatching some samples soon to everyone who asked and believe it will be a good opportunity to show the hides.

The hide currently in stock is the seal brown and we have an order since January which is expected to be delivered in May. Some people (mostly Japanese) have ordered some jackets and there is a small queue for dark seal jackets. The order includes also russet, a new color we develop to be smooth and uniform. We have given every possible instruction to the tannery in order to specify it as good as possible and we hope for a good result.

If you were to order a seal brown jacket which is in stock we would be able to deliver it within a reasonable time, I 'd say 4-6 weeks, considering the current workload and the 4 new designs (3 of them civilian) that we are developing.

The Victory hide is extremely expensive and that limits our ability to buy in large quantities. Considering also the low demand and the fact that our retail price is less than what the wholesale price should be, we operate at a very small margin, hoping to be able to get the market recognition these hides and jackets deserve. We will continue to do this for as long as we can afford.

I am not bullshiting you, there is another company that buys from the same tannery and look how much they price their jackets.

I have deleted the names for obvious reasons.

Of course, this company can afford to sell this much because they have the distribution channels and everything set up. And there is no question that these hides deserve this price. No question at all.

Also, don't think that this is one of the well known brands, like DSquared, D&G, or this kind of people. It is a very young, relatively unknown company which I am sure no one here have ever heard about, as neither had I before we started working with this tannery(and I used to be a Vogue (Uomo) reader, L'Officiel etc etc).

If I hadn't bought a BK april last year I would have bought a Victory Horse one now, they look great.
Now, if a part exchange were possible...

I have stepped up to the plate and purchased the Victory Russet in the limited Antique finish. Was shipped yesterday (monday 4.29.13). When it arrives I'll take photos and give a review.

My mistake I didn't put a sample of the seal brown inside the pocket for you to find.

Got a few samples left, who wants some?

Just received some samples today, and am blown away by the leather. The first jacket I bought of BK was a premium seal RW 23380, it is one of the best purchases I have ever made, the leather is of great quality, and I am 100% satisfied.

Having said that, the Victory samples I received and the Badalassi are incredible, the depth of colour is amazing, especially in the seal V.H.H and the seal Badalssi. The seal horse is so pliable and textured.

The Cape skin is amazingly soft, textured and pliable, you could have a jacket in this unlined, or a shirt, it's a pleasure to touch it.

I wanted the samples to decided on leather for a Aeronaut, I was thinking Lamb for the weight and softness, but now I have no idea, reddish seal Badalssi or cape skin... as soon as you get some samples you you'll start constructing a jacket in your head.

atm i;m thinking seal cape, copper lining, wine red stitching...

Common knowledge but if unaware, there is a horsehide Aeronaut on their Facebook page for comparison.

Just put met self down for a badalassi read seal buttoned Aeronaut...

No angles on my shoulders, well, hell's angles and they're both wearing leather jackets so don't see the problem.

Was thinking of a seal cape, but the bad ass is an amazing colour.

Having said that the samples of VH are amazing, the dark seal has so much depth if colour.
