Well, it's bee awhile but I have received invaluable information from many reliable sources. Finding repro squadron patches for VMF-312 - specific to the time period - has been all but impossible.

Point well taken. As I learn more about the unique aspects of these jackets, I should clarify that what I am looking for is "close to" rather than "exact". Those who have e-mailed me seem to be recommending the G-1 as you do.

No problem with the scan. The patchwork on the jackets is clearly visible. Seems that the position of most of the squadron patchs is on the upper right of the chest, however, some are on the left...
