I’m actually in murky waters here. Not sure if I even still have a deposit. I gave away my spot to someone in more immediate need; told John to keep the tip. Only in this hobby!

It will be pleasant news if it ever happens but I’d rather be surprised if it does.

My spot came up quite a few months ago but as I've mentioned before on here I started questioning whether I needed another A-2 as I have 2 in perfectly wearable condition. I need less stuff in my life than more so am holding off on a new A-2 until I wear out/outgrow/lose/need a new one. I had a chat with John about it and he said no problem. Best guy in the business.

I have also received my second GW, an Aero 16160 in russet Shinki. To borrow Brett's adjective, a grail jacket too. No pictures yet, but I will be posting a review of that, together with a review of the Doniger soon.
And needless to say, dealing with JC was distinct pleasure not to mention an education.

It's perfection in every way Brett. I think this RW just became my favorite jacket on VLJ. Love the mid brown knits and thread on seal. That's the route that I'm planning to go on my GW RW.
