William Sylvester in GORGO...

Louis Bishop, only (?) AVG pilot captured by Japanese, he thru integration process in the Bridge House, then transfer to a real POW camp in shanghai.
At May 1945, he escaped with other 4 US marines, all of them were saved by local chinese, then chinese civilian help them found CCP force，later one escorted them to US army force in China.

I never knew that Red Wing Moc Toe boots were an issued item during the air war .

No one really knew much and cared less about the details of a G-1 jacket back in those days. I doubt if most knew the differences between Dynel and Mouton collars
