What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

Just the mornings. Even the B-3 gets some wear.

Once took the B-3 on a trip where I couldn’t stop to take it off. It reached 80F in the car. That was about as miserable an experience as any.
Yeah …. I feel your pain Nick. Last week it was around 95F with 90 % humidity most of the days down here. Too hot for T’s, Flip flops or shorts, Might be time to thin the herd a little .

jacket looks great. NO ONE wears jackets here in my neck of the woods in the summer even when its cold. In fact, even when its really cold in Winter, its just not a jacket wearing town (mid south USA) . Below freezing will see people in lightweight fleece, jackshirts. Been this way for decades.

It’s only in the 70s here. Still hellish but LA is off to a very late start of summer heat this year.

Not so much what I *wore* as what I tried on today. New jacket that came in the mail from @ties70:

This jacket's kinda-sorta a tribute jacket to my grandfather. He wasn't a pilot, but he was a marine who fought and was wounded at Okinawa. VMF-222 fought at the battle, so I thought I'd do a tribute to one of the fighter squadrons that was helping to keep my grandfather alive, and to the F4U Corsair, AKA Whistling Death, AKA The Angel of Okinawa:

It's definitely a short jacket on me, but I think I'm in good company:

Just for some variety, I tried it with P-41 trousers and the sleeves rolled up:

Very cool Jan, like it. Bravo Ties.
BTW somewhere in my mother's house I have such a Corsair with rockets in 1/48, if I get there I'll take a pic.

very, very cool, jan. and, nice its a summer weight jacket, being shorter is a bon issue as most likely you will be wearing it open,, and as you have already done, with the sleeves rolled up. and.....yes, ties is da man.
