There are jackets you buy on a splurge...

There are jackets you have to have...

And there are jackets you earn..

Normally it takes a young subaltern at least 18 months of work at Royal Military College - Duntroon. Or four years with the Degree pathway through the Australian Defence Force Academy. It took me 30 years after first enlisting..

Ahhh it's wonky alright.....but at least it doesn't look like your a overripe grape like patrol blues....the "made in Vietnam" ones are horrible blighters which NEVER look good on any ADFA cadet no matter his/her physical shape (and you get the damned things tailored to your body and they still look horrid )
