I found my Eastman to wear almost too fast, as far as colour loss. It’s 5 years old and looks like it’s 80 years old. Hasn’t even had much wear as the weather here tends to be either parka weather or bikini weather. Couple weeks in spring and maybe a couple months in fall is about the only jacket weather. Only exception was when I had the Se5a. I found anything below 22 c on the ground, going to need a jacket in the air.

From what I can see in your photos, some guys would be very happy with their jackets if they aged like yours. I think it looks good , but please “full image” your photos so we can get a good look at it.

Some may differ but I don’t have a problem with the jacket looking like this. It looks like an original A2. However, I can see why others may not like a jacket looking like this in a relatively short period of time . How long have you owned it ?

Ok then I would agree that the jacket with only 5 or 6 years wear should not look like that unless someone tried their hand at Pre- Maturely aging it with sanding .

Yikes, that should not have aged like that. Honestly though, if someone here's getting into experimenting with dyes, it could be a great project jacket.

no, just normal wear. I was quite surprised. Didn’t even notice it for a while. Almost like it was aging in the closet.

Before I sold it I would contact Eastman and send them photos and complain about the jacket and ask them to take it back and re finish it at no charge .
