FIVESTAR LEATHER G1 JACKET

Good evening folks!! I thought some of you might be interested in hearing about my experience with the five star leather g1 after a few months! I think I've had it for 7 months now with active wear. I wear it in our rough Canadian winter, I've had it in rain, had the opportunity to wear it during the summer, in strong winds etc. The jacket has even seen the cockpit quite a few flights. I finally got some fit pictures so some of you can make a decision weather you like it or not.

So what's my verdict? I think it's pretty much the same as it was when I did my initial review. The jacket is great, it holds up really well!! The leather quality is very good. I love the waistband and the cuff bands... They are very tight and they are still as tight as new which is amazing when it comes to retaining warm air inside the jacket. When I pair it with a pure wool sweater I can wear it down to -20 and be very comfortable. So overall it's a great jacket, a great deal and definitely a good purchase for my first ever leather jacket and my first ever g1.

Negatives? Yes still the same one... I still get the issue of the lining color sticking to my white shirts... I really don't know how to wash it off? I haven't tried anything yet because I'm scared of ruining the leather. And it hasn't been much of a problem since it washes off the white clothing really easily.. just annoying at times. For those who are new to this, don't be scared, five star already changed the lining so it doesn't have that issue anymore. Still tho.. if anyone knows how to clean this let me know hahaha.

Also, the patches are clearly not accurate, but each one of them has a story related to my flying career (so far) so I love the look it has right now and I can't wait to progress in my career to attach more patches.

Some pictures are with the jacket zipped up and some it's open to show you the fit in both styles. Let me know if you guys have questions. So far I love the community on here and it's really fun :)

Guys sorry I don't know any other options... The only option I see is "attach files"... If there's any other more convenient way for you to see pictures let me know. I am still not sure by what you guys mean "thumbnails". Just a little confused here hahahaha

Insert: Thumbnail Full image ,< select this full image before saving

Normally you have the picture you selected next to what is above once it is attached .
Thumbnail and full image will be in a black block with white writing .Outside the block it will have insert .
At this point you you can select full image and that waht will load .If you select nothing it will get you a
thumbnail .The above # is the code or id for the picture in your file .

Now you have to go to Pay Pal and send me $25 friends and family to

Follow up to my previous postings. I took Shawn up on his offer of a discounted remake to address the sizing concerns I had with the original jacket. Also changed a couple things like knits and collar.
I’m happy with the size adjustments made. Shawn also made this new jacket with a heavier leather and IMO is night and day superior to the first in terms of look and feel.
Nice work @Shawn Ali

Now I just need you to make the deerskin jacket project I have in mind...
