WILLIS AND GEIGER INC. AN6552 / USN GROUPING

Gentlemen

I just received this USN grouping, which contains a well preserved example of the AN6552 made by WILLIS AND GEIGER INC., fiscal year 1944.

These jackets are known to have a lot of variation in their measurments, which is the case with this jacket, being tagged as a size 38, fits more like a 40-42.

The condition is amazing to be over 75 years old, leather is very soft and flawless, all the parts are original to the jacket. The mouton collar is golden blond, it has two small bald spots, and not really noticeable when wearing the jacket. The knits have some moth holes, they are tiny and not really affect the performace of the garment.

Original blackened Talon zipper operates perfectly.

US stencil under the collar looks sharp.

Left chest depicts a leather name tag, printed “A.B. SADUNAS U.S.N.R.”

The rest of the grouping includes a large size “Seapack” case made by Hartman which is in excellent condition (even the wooden hangers came inside), Aviation Officer’s green dress, gloves, WWII USN Officer’s hat, Naval Officer’s Guide, CPT Pilot Rating Book and the Aviators Flight Log Book, the last 3 items are named to the pilot.

Say no more, hope you enjoy it!

Regards,
Jorge

You have, without a smidgen of a doubt, easily one of the best collections on here by a very long chalk.

That is an absolute stunner like all your jackets.

That really is a stunner Jorge and once again you couldn't ask for a better fit.

The suitcase and all the other bits and bobs are icing on the cake.

Absolutely fantastic!

Yes, the rest of the grouping was really a bonus, and to be honest the “seapack” is muuuuch bigger than I expected!!

This is mind blowing that you are able to find all of this stuff...., I think you should hold a training class on “The Elusive & Rare Flight Jacket and how to Find One”

One thing which often gets overlooked...look at that goatskin.

Everybody goes on and on about horse and steer hide but you'll never get grain popping like you'll see on goatskin.

Oh for Pete’s sake. Another stunner. Looks like a barely-worn repro! And that’s without all the other cool stuff. Love that case. Grrrr. :p
