Where are Buzz Rickson's leather jackets made?

Aside from their Eastman produced A2's, where are Buzz Rickson's leather jackets produced? Japan? China? Elsewhere?
Anyone know if the A2's they made for Ralph Lauren are made someplace different from where their "Buzz Rickson" labeled line is produced?

I don't think Eastman make BR A-2's. My B-2 has a label for Italian horsehide, could be made anywhere,Japan, China?

I'm a member of a number of 'specialist' forums where it is quite common for certain guys, who are obviously experts on a particular field/subject, to get 'carried away' with their superior knowledge when taking part in discussions or giving advice.

But I have to say that here, the current resident experts are patient, extremely generous in sharing their knowledge and actively encourage newbies like myself

Eastman makes A2's for Buzz Rickson's European market.
For their non-European market...where are they made? I understood it to be China.

As I understand it....
When Buzz Rickson and Eastman joined forces to sell BR products in Europe through the Eastman site (see bottom left);

Eastman required that the A2's that BR "sold" there were to be Eastman produced.

As for the rest of the BR's A2's....where are they made?

I suspect this is because of the agreement between BR and Eastman...in that BR will not sell "Buzz Rickson" manufactured A2's in Europe.
Or at least not through their European outlet.....Eastman Leather.

Eastman does not make BR jackets, ie, a jacket with the BR label on it.
It is my understanding however that as part of the business agreement between BR and Eastman, where Eastman is the European distributor of BR merchandise, BR agreed to use Eastman as the supplier of Buzz Rickson A2's in Europe. (With the Eastman label on it.) or, what amounts to the same thing, not selling Buzz Rickson labeled A2's in Europe.
If somebody knows different please correct me.

Are you saying that Eastman sells Eastman-labelled Asian-made Buzz Rickson A-2s in Europe? I would like to see some evidence for that.

No, that is not at all what I am saying.

You can't buy a Buzz Rickson made A2 in Europe through the site Buzz Rickson is using as their European distributor....which is Eastman Leather.
You can buy an EASTMAN made EASTMAN A2, but not a Buzz Rickson made A2.
ie, it appears that BR has what is in essence a "no compete" clause for the European market with Eastman for those products Eastman produces
in exchange for Eastman hosting the "Buzz Rickson Europe" site. ie, they have a business deal.
Run a Google search on "Buzz Rickson, Europe". Now try to buy an A2.

Nothing wrong with that at all. Just pointing it out.


Now, back to my original question. Where are Buzz Ricksons "Buzz Rickson" labeled A2's manufactured ? Japan? Elsewhere in Asia?
I understand they are made in China, with design and material provided by Buzz Rickson.
Is this not so? Some made in Japan, some elsewhere? Select runs in Japan? All made in Japan?
