Hadn't come across this repro before, which may be the first of this particular model? The snap on the knit collar is interesting, not something I've seen before, though they claim it's copied from an original. Whenever I've seen repro A-1's with the pockets raised up before, they've never looked quite right, but The Real McCoy's seem to have nailed it here.

That's a great looking jacket but with the pockets way down (and a tad smaller?) it would have had still a bit more character.
Very chique though. Love the collar.

The pockets are right for that variant (in terms of position and size) - they're quite different from the A-1.

It's also spot on, Miles. The original can be seen here (it famously was auctioned a couple of years ago) with the varsity collar and reinforced snap.

If I were in the market for one, I'd ask BK to run one up in the Victory Capeskin - I did give it some serious consideration a while back.
