The most beatiful photograph?

Hi guys,
Here is a photo that I consider the most beautiful photograph of an airplane in its element I ever saw. That it happens to be of the B17, my favourite airplane, is a bonus.

I found this picture, among many, many others on the website of the 457th BG. In the photocollection section is a link to the "Zemper collection", consisting of photographs made by the group photography officer and his crew.

Enjoy!

A moment frozen in time...
B-10s from Hamilton Field coming over San Francisco, January 28, 1936.
Visible in the distance is the not yet completed Golden Gate Bridge.

A visual poem in form and scale...
The stern of the Graf Zeppelin, at mooring somewhere in Germany, late 1920s-early '30s.

When giants lived in the sky...
The Graf coming down to land at Cairo, Egypt, April 11, 1931.

I also enjoyed reading Bob Morgan's book too. He was quite character! Interesting section of B29 missions to Japan.
