What's the story behind dark seal jackets?
Were they made darker?
Where they depot redyes?
Were they made lighter and darkened by age ?

Have you ever seen an original dark seal aero with red knits?
Are there any saved ones in good condition?

Which other contracts are documented dark seal? Star? Dubow 1755 ?

From what I understand the certain companies made the jackets with whatever color variations came in. The dark Jackets were highly desirable.
