First off, let me say again thanks to all those who participated and all those who responded. I hope you all had some enjoyment out of seeing these repro's and might find the series useful in determining your next jacket purchase. Ok guys, this is the last in the “Show Us” series so if we missed your brand of jacket , this is the place to post it for us all to see and enjoy.
Here’s a S&M wholesale A2 in goatskin I purchased a few years ago, that is surprising a decent quality jacket for the money .

This thread never really got off the ground, so there’s a lot of room here for you guys with AVI and 5 Star jackets if you’d like to show them. Here’s a Lost World Dubow Horsehide I’ve had for a while. As most of you guys know, the hides on these are Chromium tanned and are in the 3oz to 3.5 oz thickness ranges. These jackets are bulletproof proof ;) .The word indestructible comes to mind. Don’t get one unless you’re ready to put in about 5 years of hardcore wear to break one in. Here ya go.

Very nice. Did you do all the patch work or were some of them already on when you purchased the jacket?

Hi Burt
The patches were ordered from Sean and the name tag from Jim, then sent by me to Dave who was so kind to sew them in. The blood chit was I think attached to the jacket before the lining was installed, because there are no stitches showing through the back.

Thanks for the quick response..It looks very cool. This is the first DD jacket that's been posted.
I hope a few other guys will consider posting theirs as well. They're well made jackets.

I have a DD Poughkeepsie in cowhide. The jacket came from Pilot and there were some minor issues. I bought the jacket for my father but he didn't like it and gave it back to me. At first glance I didn't like it either but I started wearing it and the jacket develops fine. It is a good jacket with a nice drape. The cowhide is suple but very thick ( just over 1 mm) and heavy and therefore less comfortable to wear. BTW: are there any specifications for the thickness of cowhide? I've posted some pics earlier but here in the new thread some pics in daylight.

@ flightengineer: I like it how your jacket is aging ! Any idea why the last camel is turning his back to the others?
Thanks. This is a known fact. One camel - one flight over the Hump. Backward camel - return due to engine trouble.

AVI jackets are pretty good. I had one and the goatskin is pretty tough. I’d suggest the seal colored one rather than the russet, as AVI hasn’t mastered the russet color yet and the jacket is a bit on the orange side of russet.

The seal goatskin they had when I got mine (2018 and it's the same leather and colour as Dmitry's hump Bronco) is a gorgeous colour, a really lovely chocolate shade. Dmitry's photos show it really well and how it wears at the high points to a dark chestnut colour. The newer ones are I believe darker and aren't as nice a shade as those earlier ones, at least to my eye.
