.....any ideas how to remove excess pecards dressing from a goatskin jacket?....i seem to remember something about using a hairdryer to heat up the leather and wipe the dressing off?...or is it possible to use detergent?

Thanks!

The only trouble I have noticed with saddle soap is that some of the brands have waxy materials in them. This would probably not solve a Pecard build up issue.

I would recommend Lexol Leather Cleaner. Washing my goatskin A-2 in cold water doesn't seem to remove much Pecards.
