Parachute Survival Kit

I got this survival Kit and groin armor with all of the flight suits as well. The groin armor was used by army and Navy Helicopter crewmen, door gunners I imagine.

Pity the kit is empty. Are these Nam era items ?

Dated 1959 so probably.

nice kit should be easier to find the pieces than a WWII kit...nam stuff is still "relatively" inexpensive.......
