True story. Many years ago an old artist-painter fried was going through a very acrimonious separation divorce. He was staying in his studio because life at the shared apartment had become impossible. One day he went to the apartment to retrieve some 12-15 self portraits that he had painted over the years, and what he encountered was a mind blower. His soon to be ex had cut the eyes out of all of the paintings. She had hidden them, and demanded ransom for their return. Well my friend got the eyes back, because their kids had found Them and gave them back.

Somebody put up an ELC B-3 in a similar state a few years ago, in similar circumstances. I vaguely remember somebody bought it and stitched it up.

It just ended and got 45 quid. It might look a bit odd stitched up though even if that might work for sheepskin. The bloke said a barmaid in a pub he went to while he was wearing it in that state complemented him on it... The ultimate distressed leather jacket look?

She might have been taking the piss though.

But maybe Eastman should up their time worn game and sell them like that?
