Looks like a bona fida pattern, look how wide the upper arms are.

I would say it's made from quite a few bits and pieces including Irvin trousers.
The fleece looks like early pre 1940.

Fascinating, Captain. Kind of a B-3/D-1 hybrid with an Irvin zip. Fleece colour looks more AAF than RAF. From the stitching on the new bits (in contrast to what is obviously the original stitching), I think it was a well-done amateur job, and I’ll stick my neck out and say I reckon it’s a modified jacket rather than one knocked up out of trousers.
