Really? I didn't know that. Everywhere I've seen it was red - but today is today, not WWII. Thanks!

Hi Greg,

Wartime Spit door crowbars were the same colour as the rest of the interior, so "interior grey green", never red. Red is a postwar thing. As another little bit of trivia they only began to be installed in February 1941 so before that they weren't carried.

No wonder COL Rogers invented the twin turret for the B-24. That front is very exposed... Great work Greg.
