I have several friends who are very serious bikers. For example the whole American continent from Alaska downwards, and Niger overland from the UK. None of them wear leather. They all wear Goretex with armour inserts.
I also can't see how the B-2 collar would fit with a helmet, most bike jackets have Cafe Racer collars to allow a good fit.
