Reduce them in size by reforming them into flat packs.

why not use them for their original purpose, holding jackets? I've got an original Irvin sitting in one right now, as I dont want to hang it up. Obviously one box is a bit of a different story from 6 or 8 but they really are good storage containers.

Jacket storage is another good use for old suitcases as they are moth proof.

Can moths eat cardboard John? Or do they just wriggle through the gaps? I ask because
my jackets are in boxes too, I didn't think they would be insect lunch while in there............

I would assume suitcases are more airtight[ ones with zips] than boxes.
