Good Cheap MA-1?

I haven't had the chance to purchase a GB MA-1 with Thinsulate, yet, but it is on my short list. The guy I spoke with at GB said that both their poly fiber and Thinsulate lined jackets have a more substantial feel then their imported MA-1. I have no experience with the wool lined MA-1s, but I do know that Alpha is offering a "1968 Replica" MA-1 that is wool/cotton lined and is available in XXL. I spoke with a lady at Alpha about these and she told me that they have more heft than their regular MA-1s.

I had one and I was disappointed. The sleeves are too skinny and the knits are a bit slack. The materials and weight are very nice but it could have been better. I love originals but they are always too short.
