Similar but that's Capeskin and from a completely different tanner. We went to great lengths to color match the original hide color used on the G&F A-1.

Here's our Dark Russet Horsehide that would be a great choice for the Knopf contract:

Can't believe it's still available. Judging by the pics it seems on par with Eastman's A-1. Which is a gorgeous jacket. Thankfully not my size.

That jacket is not made yet. It will be off in the future. We are currently working our way through the sale orders. Here is the planned releases for the spring / summer :
Aero A-2- economy version
Perry A-2 - 2 contracts - just finalizing the label and a few details. The pattern is finished.

There are a few more as well.
Not in exact chronological order of release. The Knopf could be made any time after the Foster USN jackets. Timeline is always dependent on order volume as well. When we have a large amount of orders, there is not a lot of time to make new jacket models, so that slows things down.
