Andrew, did you recieve your 15% consultation fee? With all the knowledge members have on this site, maybe E-bay should have them check-in here before they list their items.

Around 20 years ago (before Ebay), I was offered an "original" Levi's denim jacket, that the US seller swore had been bought in by his grandfather in the 1930's. When I pointed out to him that, based on the style and the label, the jacket was actually made in the 1960's (!), he basically told me I was talking rubbish.

I wonder if he ever sold his "collector's item"??? ;)

Who knows...he might have found it at a yard sale for $5 and is listing it at a more realistic price... ;) eBay throws all sorts into the buying/selling experience. I use Turbo Lister when I sell and the software is not overly helpful. I duplicate items and then insert the pics and amend the descriptions accordingly. I had one duplicate of a US Army Pinks repro garrison cap set up for a RAAF Officers Sidecap. The pic stayed as the US Army item. I had four emails barking at me that I was wrong, how big their collections were and that if I needed help to contact them. None were of a demure helpful nature. All were almost Japanese porn violent in their tone. I simply replied that the software had failed on this occasion, and that as a bulk seller on occasion it happens. To the most conceited eBayer I asked him to come back when his feedback busted the 100 mark. It is all about the tone....and it is hard to read sarcasm, humour in an email.....unless you throw a wink behind it...(no offence meant Andrew)... Who knows...someone could pick it up for the hardware...Waiting patiently for the first GW RAF Jacket...??
