Guys,
it's not really "related gear" but I just have received this:
It is a fragment from a 250kg heavy USAAF bomb, found at construction works at one of our companies two refineries here in Germany.
The acid fuse was still intact, and the bomb disposal team decided to destroy the bomb with a controlled explosion.
Some of the splinters flew some hundred meters, and this part (roughly 4" wide at the largest part) landed right in front of the cafeteria. Amazingly sharp edges!!
