Aero advice for breaking in new jackets, a great read !

There is some interesting advice there. One thing that I noticed is they they say "...but don't ever hang it up on a hook at the back of the neck."

Why not? If my jacket has a hanger loop I always use it.

Nice piece, especially the bit about how the nobs broke in a new Savile Row suit. Learn something new and useful everyday if you're lucky.

I liked the tweed suit piece also. I wonder how true it is though as I suspect such a suit would cost about the same as the annual pay of a gardener.

I can't help but think that Ted is securing the fences against Lever inspired rustling for Irvins... ;)

Back in the days of the Classic 20th, Ken Calder used to say that the Aero factory staff used to break in a FQHH jacket by tying it into a ball with string, and then having a game of football with it!
