What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

Bloody mild here which is welcome. The old and rare pre-release WPG A-2 again today. I love this thing. Shame the actual release jackets weren't the same as they could have sold an absolute boatload of the things.

Photo from a week or two back because I'm lazy and it's not like the jacket looks particularly different.

Looks real good on you and I bet it drapes better than many of the high end ones .
Just seems to happen that way .

It's a beauty Burt and the drape is great because it's chrome tanned.

I was told that only around a dozen of these were made because they cost too much so the release ones were different and unfortunately inferior. I bought a release version and it was a million miles away from this one.

One of those lucky little buys. It's a lot like an Aero in terms of fit and details whilst not being a dead ringer.

I'd never sell it, I like it that much.

Love the jacket, mine is on order from JC, hopefully soon. Also love the 13th AAF Long Rangers patch. When I was in grammar school the librarian knew my Mom and knew I loved history. Her husband was in the 13th and was a navigator with the Long Rangers. She lent me his unit book he got after the war for a while to look thru. The patch designs from that book are forever in my head from looking thru that book so many times. A small gesture like that left a lasting impression on a young mind.

BR M43 pants with my ELC B-15 today, as it is grey and dull and rather cold...
tired look stems from another meeting that should have been an email honestly and started at 0730....
