What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

Thanks, I'd say the Irvin was favourite, I like the British connection and I find it easier to wear, the lack of panels on the arms is the key, that said the S.F.A.D is also very comfortable, feels like a big cardigan.

Probably a little redder than most originals. But it’s cool. Great old brass Talon.

Nick, all the perspiring this last week, I recon that Monarchs going to be even bigger on me now, or should I say Im going to smaller for it... lol
You’ll regret letting it go. You have a WWII fighter pilot physique but that doesn’t mean a little room looks bad on you. I know fit is personal, but I know I’m not the only one whose scratched their head and asked why you’ve sold on some of your previous A-2s. Most, including your ELC Monarch, look absolutely fabulous.

If you were assigned a squadron via VLJ Command you’d be in a P-51 or 47, definitely.

gw sat [security aviation togs]. this is the one that I landed from oz. I've been wearing since. got caught in the rain twice, and let it dry in the sun. besides some graining due to rain and sun, the over all color has become a little bit mottled. additional laid flat pix.View attachment 79941View attachment 79942View attachment 79943View attachment 79944View attachment 79945View attachment 79946View attachment 79947View attachment 79940
Great jacket.

Did the jacket match the listing pics when you got it? Looks like it has gained more patina in the short time you have had it.

Looks fantastic! Great get. VERY jealous.

That is pretty impressive! Looks like it will last as long as your stone walls.
Was really impressed with the quality of the leather and the crafstmanship. Despite the thickness of the fleece which is 18mm compared to the21 mm of seal one.. the jacket is in the same range as my Aero B3. with a little bit more patina wear, and aging it will look really nice. Hope it will last long...
