From what little that I know about the Kings Crown it looks to be from WWII era also. But just want to be real sure as to keeping, or sending it back.

These are rare hard to find flight helmets. Specially hard to find one that isn't in bad, torn condition.
$200 for a good one would be a steal of a deal.

I use to like watching Reality shows, and sometimes still catching myself peeking at them once in a while.
But I've concluded that "all Reality shows are staged. Some just do a better job at covering the staging up than others do.
To me it looks like there is some wear on the sleeves of the jacket, and some on the shoulders. The paint shows no wear or cracking what so ever.
Being over sixty years old I sure would expect to see some wear or cracking on the paint.
What convinces you guys think its period painted?

Found this neat WWII vintage Keep Em Flying statue and had to have it. I've never seen one like it before. Not sure if something like this would of been display in recruiting centers or how it would of been used.
It's fairly large so I wouldn't think that it would of been displayed in home.
