One of the guys on WIX is looking for an artist to recreate his grandfather's jacket, so I told him I'd post it here. I'd take it on myself, but I had to be honest with myself that I simply do not have the time. I'll get an email addy in a few minutes.

They are from the book The Birth of Hot Rodding. http://www.amazon.com/Birth-Hot-Rodding ... 230&sr=8-1 They were taken in the late '40s and mostly at El Mirage and Muroc. It's a great book.

My concern though is that it is not padded like a modern motorcycle jacket. Looks great though!
