    Clueless seller

I don't know if its deliberate or just sadly misinformed. I'm certain ELC wouldnt approve their name inserted. https://www.ebay.com/itm/134744386156?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=KoiEXk_wQPG&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=id1h2ICNTZe&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Original nose art on jacket pics?

With the topic on hand, I thought this would be appropriate. This book has been in the making for several years. Scheduled for an early summer release. https://issuu.com/johnslemp9/docs/book_proposal_-_final

    GW goat relisted 3rd time

I messaged him about it. He says the last second sniper that won thought it was horsehide. I saw no mention of hide in description. So not knowing JC uses goat for the RW was the deal breaker. Reg also said he left VLJ. Only TFL now

B-6 jacket made by John Chapman

I have one of John's. A trial made a few years ago. He wasn't happy that the shearling was a whiter shade. Very comfortable. I prefer over my Aero B-6. Last photo is just comparison of B-3 shearling thickness to a B-6

    G-1 Information

The red lining is a WWII tradition. The date on your jacket is post Vietnam made. There hasn't been an ace since Korea. If its red, someone just replaced a likely worn out original.

    Memphis Belle crewman in Irvin

Yes, Hell's Angels was first, but the names of the competing a/c was also a publicity decision. Wyler wryly joked that he had plenty of film of the 303rd bomber should the Belle not return. If only to uncover that film today! btw,The photo is taken before the crew departed to the States for...

I'm Not Even Crazy About B-10s...

I did the same thing on an Aero B-6 I have. I found as I moved, the puller slipped lower and lower. I VERY gently used a needle nose on the gap. After testing if it was enough, repeated 2 or 3 more times. My puller snapped by that time. Aero was good enough to send me a complete zipper...

    Monarch A-2 made by John

Peter, this a topic my friends and I have long debated. The 'Hap Arnold' wing began to appear on the cloth issued jackets late in the war. As for A-2's we have a standing bet. To date, no one has been able to provide a clear photo IN a combat theatre w/ the decal. It likely was applied when...
