Vest? You mean sweater right? Would you be able to compare the BR C-2 against the Bronson C-2 Repro?

BR's version said it's %100 wool, while Bronson has some Poly Synthetic (I think it was %30 poly)

I have the Bronson C-2 and find it gets a little staticky, and the poly would not be as insulating as the %100 wool. The Bronson may get some 'pilling' to it probably worse than the BR's C-2. (But I may be wrong)

as it seems, even the guys at HPA say, it's both, a vest and a sweater...

as I haven't seen a Bronson C-2 in flesh, I cannot compare it to the Buzz rendition unfortunately...

For some odd reason, the specs of the C-2 referred to it as a vest. I bought a Willis & Geiger repro C-2 many years ago and remember them referring to it as a "vest." Can't answer why.

Yup, that's the one For the $$, well made, fits great, and it's warm. Snug fit under the A2, but better under the G1 or Irvin.

Don’t bother with a repro. The US army has kept on buying them up to the present day. The only thing that’s changed is they switched to acrylic yarn in the ‘80s or ‘90s. You still get wool originals on eBay for under $40.

Have replaced it with a Barnstormer in steerhide Aero leather, not quite as warm but still......
