What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

What size do you wear ?
Honestly? I don't know anymore. Sizes are all over the place and my body shape has changed since working out consistently and losing weight -- so, big shrug.

That said, thanks -- but I think my BDU days are past. IF, however, you see a nice 44 M-51, I'd take a chance! :)

(I stopped wearing my M-43 at the grill in the cool months because I realized I'd be heartbroken if I slopped grease on it ;), but I still wear my late 90s, woodland camo M-65 -- am I a heathen?)

Sizes in these BDUs make it pretty easy to figure out your size . Sounds like you put on a few pounds of muscle . If you’re a 46 ( I know a little about these jackets:)) You’re probably an XL Regular or if you’re 6’1” or taller an XL Long . I hear you about your M-43, and M-51s in nice condition are getting tougher to find. If you find a really mint one you feel a little guilty about making it a daily wearer. Might just be that repros are the way to go on those.

I was tempted with this Northrop MA-1 from Buzz Rickson

Good looking jacket Jorge, but just one thing don't fall for the rubbish that BR and Chuck from HPA make out that this is an exact replica of the red Northrop jacket worn by the F-89 test pilots. Sadly it isn't. Doesn't stop it being a cool looking jacket though!
Sounds like there's a story there. What separates it from the originals?

I ordered one in 46 (back then the "biggest" size they offered) when they just started their bizz even before that temp.-shutdown they obviously had

really liked the color but the zipper blew within 2 days after i received it - they sent a replacement within 5 days but the color on the 2nd i got was darker which i didnt like that much

still owning that replacement and still satisfied

Great looking jacket! where did you get the patches from?
I always wanted to own/do a TokoRi jacket but did not find an appropriate jacket nor the patches...

It was a complete set of patches I found on eBay.com … - was about 60.- bucks shipped to Germany as far as I remember …

Already 3 years or so ago but I will try to find the eBay-shop

Anyway - if you just look for „bridges at toko ri“ they should pop up

There is also a set availability for the short Irish guy who flew the heli to get BRUBAKER out of the hot zone - name of the character was Mike Forney played by Mickey Roonie

There is a set availability currently less the namebadge of Brubaker
