What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

Rule 1. No matter how many jackets you mIght own, you can only wear one at a time.

Rule 2. Today’s latest and greatest jacket that you paid hundreds of dollars for.... will be tomorrow’s closet queen that you tossed over for that new latest and greatest jacket, that you paid hundreds of dollars for.

Rule 6. Try as I might.... I still can’t figure out how to take all these damn jackets with me when I go.... The best I’ve been able to manage is, taking the one that I’ll be wearing when they close the lid!

Rule 9. Ive come to realize that over the years, I’ve spent thousands of dollars and owned several Original A2’s, GWs , ELCs , Aeros, along with many other jackets, but when it came down to wearing them, I always picked one or two favorites and all of the rest were wasted money.

Just trying to help out !;)
I’m certainly not in the same league as you guys. Maybe 4 jackets and that seems like 3 too many ;)

In fact, I wouldn’t even consider my self a collector, nor would I consider it a hobby for me. I simply spent a lot of money and most of my adult life trying to find the jacket I like. Now I have 2 or 3 that I can’t see ever parting with. I think for most on this forum it’s a real hobby and enjoy it. And hobbies always cost a lot of money. But what the hell, have to enjoy things in life. And if it weren’t for the guys on this forum I’d probably still be spending shitloads trying to find “the one”. I appreciate everyone sharing their expertise.

Okay, gonna try to participate again -- but my arms is just too short for selfies. Do they still sell those sticks?

Very, very true my friend, but we might as well enjoy ourselves while we are north of the soil, unless we get a really big casket and take them south with us. Damn this addictive personality.

There's nothing like khaki breeches and field boots with an A-1.

Nice. Cool hat too. What flavour of cap is that?
Looks like the later issue HBT fatigue cap with the longer brim -- but I await confirmation.

Like to get one myself. The short bill is historically correct for WW2, but my dad was issued one of these late ones in 1953 and I always wanted to replace it (his disintegrated sometime in the 60s :D).
