Light frost this morning in Norfolk, think I’ll be warm enough though….

Obviously not something I’d actually wear, but as I’ve now completed the full set of very early and rare USAF olive green heavy cold weather flight clothing, I wanted to see what the complete set-up looked like. The items, all issued in the mid-late 40s, before the Air Force switched to blue, are as follows:

N-3 parka
F-1 trousers
N-1 boots
D-1 mask
B-9 hat
N-1 mittens
